Dog Training and Dog Behaviour Problems in Port Stephens, Newcastle & Maitland
Why? Some
dogs present with problems that can’t be addressed in a group
situation. Some dog owners are not able to regularly attend a course.
For these people a home visit is the ideal way to learn about their dog
in familiar surroundings and to have a program specially tailored to
their dog’s needs.
What?
An in-home program can be tailored to your dog’s needs and
pitched at the level required for you and your family members. You are
encouraged to write a “wish list” for your dog’s
training and this becomes the core of the in-home program. Common items
on wish lists include requests to correct:
Jumping up
Pulling on the leash
Mouthing and biting
Separation anxiety
Toilet training
Digging
Fears and phobias
Obsessive behaviours
Chewing
Attention seeking
Barking
Aggression
Who?
This service is for puppies and dogs of any age and any breed. It is a
service aimed at teaching dog owners how to develop desirable
behaviours in their dogs, using reward-based training.
Where?
In-home visits are available to dog owners living in the Port Stephens,
Newcastle, Maitland and Central Coast areas.
When?
Monday to Saturday.
